current characters and list of abilities

Characters can be freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, or Teacher's Assistants. Take in account not only the actual age of whoever is playing your character, but what age they look. Joe Jonas would not be a freshmen, just the same as Sam Boscarino would not be a senior. If the age or visual age does not fit what you put, an admin has the authority to ask you to change it before acceptance.

Ther are two lists featured here: lists that can be used for abilites, and abilites that cannot be duplicated. There had previously been a rule that only one character could have a power, but that rule has been done away with. Instead, members have decided which of their characters' powers they would allow to be duplicated, and which could not. If the ability is on the available list, you are able to use it in any future application. However, if it is on the unavailable list, you will not be able to use it, and if you do, you will be asked to change yout ability before you application is read through.

Accelerated probability: The ability to predict the probability of a certain event correctly and accelerate one's self to achieve those predictions.
Acid secretion: The ability to generate highly corrosive fluids.
Acidic blood: The ability to have acidic blood.
Activation and Deactivation: The ability to activate and deactivate various mechanisms, both electronic and biological.
Age shifting: The ability to change one's own age.
Age transferal: The ability to transfer the aging and life force to and from an object and make the user younger or older.
Alchemy: The ability to transform the chemical composition of materials to gold.
Body Insertion: The ability to insert a person into someone else's body.
Bone spike protrusion: The ability to create bone spikes that protrude from one's body.
Chlorine gas exudation: The ability to exhale chlorine gas instead of carbon dioxide.
Clairsentience: The ability to perceive the history of an object by touching it.
Clairvoyance: The ability to discern people who are not in the observer's presence.
Corrosion: The ability to cause a chemical reaction that causes metals to disintegrate.
Constriction: The ability to mimic the attributes of a constricting snake, including squeezing extra-tightly with one's body, numbing.
Dehydration: The ability to remove the water contained in objects or people by force of will.
Dream Manipulation: The ability to manipulate the dreams of others.
Dynamic Storage: The ability to store objects in another dimension to be extracted on will.
Elasticity: The ability to stretch, deform, expand and contract one's body.
Electric manipulation: The ability to manipulate the element of electricity, with limitations. One of the six exceptions to the 'no multiple abilities' rule. Can absorb electricity and manipulate the electricity around them, can have enhanced reflexes and super speed by exciting electrons to cause a boost in motion, and can produce electric shocks through one's hands. For your character to have this ability, you must first clear it with an admin and discuss the nature of their powers with them.
Electrical absorption: The ability to absorb and subsequently release electrical energy.
Electronic communication: The ability to intercept, generate, and interpret electronic, digital, and radio transmissions with one's mind.
Electronic data manipulation: The ability to manipulate data obtained electronically.
Enhanced memory: The ability to quickly absorb and accurately retain great amounts of information.
Enhanced strength: The ability to exert greater than normal physical force.
Enhanced synesthesia: The ability to see sound waves as light and project concussive blasts.
Enhancement: The ability to possess enhanced human senses, instinct, and strength.
Fire breathing: The ability to breathe out fire.
Forcefields: The ability to erect protective forcefields and manipulate them at will.
Freezing: The ability to reduce temperatures and freeze objects by force of will.
Gravitational manipulation: The ability to create gravitational vacuums.
Healing: The ability to cause other individuals to heal injuries at an increased rate, resulting in complete recovery in a matter of seconds.
Heating: The ability to heat things.
Impenetrable Skin: The ability of one's skin to not be penetrated by anything
Imprinting: The ability to mentally imprint marks onto surfaces.
Induced explosions: The ability to create explosions with one's mind.
Induced radioactivity: The ability to manipulate the movement of subatomic particles, thus generating and emitting toxic radiation. Can produce radiation through one's hands.
Intuitive aptitude: The ability to analyze complex systems and intuitively understand how they work without special education or training.
Invisibility: The ability to not be seen.
Laser emission: The ability to generate a beam of coherent light.
Light absorption: The ability to absorb light.
Luminescence: The ability to emit light from one's body.
Lung adaptation: The ability to adapt one's lungs to any environment.
Magnetism: The ability to manipulate ferrous objects and materials.
Melting: The ability to melt solid materials.
Memory Theft: The ability to steal memories and physical skills from others. the user touches their subject and has the ability to choose the memory or skill to remove, and then is able to use themselves. Also able to remove everything from one's victim, causing them to be a "blank slate".
Metal mimicry: The ability to transmute one's own body into metal.
Nerve gas emission: The ability to emit nerve gas when sweating.
Object displacement: The ability to displace objects through touch.
Oil secretion: The ability to secrete oil from one's hands.
Omnilingualism: The ability to automatically understand all verbal and non-verbal communication.
Phasing: the ability to pass through solid objects at will.
Plant growth: The ability to accelerate plant growth.
Plant Manipulation: The ability to mimic and create plants and other vegetation.
Precognition: The ability to accurately foresee future events.
Precognitive Painting: The ability to accurately foresee future events through paintings or drawings.
Primal rage: The ability to induce an uncontrollable rage in others.
Pyrokinesis: The ability to create and manipulate fire with one's mind.
Sand manipulation: The ability to turn things into sand.
Sedation: The ability to lull victims into a sedated state.
Seismic activity: The ability to create earthquakes.
Seismic burst: The ability to repel objects away from one's self.
Shape Shifting: The ability to alter one's own appearance.
Shattering: The ability to shatter objects without physical contact.
Shifting: The ability to teleport anything from person to person, and phase between and merge two people.
Silicon manipulation: The ability to create silicon in its various forms. Can form compounds which contain silicon, usually limited to silica, as sand, quartz, flint, glass, and aerogel, although can sometimes also "sparkles" with a fine glittery complexion. Can also create moissanite crystals with the carbon provides, though crystals made here are larger than the diamonds he makes
Sound absorption: The ability to absorb and nullify sound waves.
Sound manipulation: The ability to manipulate sound waves using one's voice.
Supersonic Hearing: The ability to hear sounds at a much higher rate than normal.
Super Speed: The ability to move at a higher rate than normal.
Telepathy: The ability to mentally control any function the brain controls, hearing other people's thoughts, scanning the memory of other people and sending thoughts directly to other people's minds.
Telescopic Vision: The ability to see clearly from far distances, even in the dark.
Terrakinesis: The ability to control geologic materials such as dirt and rocks.
Underwater breathing: The ability to breathe underwater.
Wall Crawling: The ability to crawl up walls effortlessly.
Water generation: The ability to create liquid water externally from a person's body.
Water mimicry: The ability to mimic water.
Weather control: The ability to control the weather.

Ability absorption: The ability to steal the abilities of other evolved humans through physical contact, rendering them powerless.
Animal Control:</b> The ability to control and communicate with animals.
Appearance Alteration: The ability to change the skin, hair, and vocal cords of another person.
Dynamic Camouflage: The ability to change one's appearance to blend into their surroundings, not unlike a chameleon.
Fire Manipulation: (also called pyrokinesis or spontaneous combustion) is the ability to manipulate the element of fire. A person with this ability is able to melt objects through heat, start fires and manipulate flames through their minds. Fire manipulators can also phase by superheating molecules by partially separating them and phasing through the object. This power involves control of friction at the atomic level.
Flight: (also referred to as "Human Flight Potential") is the ability to propel oneself through the air.
Illusion: The ability to alter the perceptions of others.
Levitation: The ability to levitate and move objects from a distance with the mind.
Lie detection: The ability to detect if other people are telling lies.
Poison Emission: The ability to harm or kill people in the immediate area by emitting a deadly poison.
Puppet Mastery: (sometimes referred to as puppetting) is the ability to take control of other people's bodies and motor functions against their will, as well as the functions of objects.
Rapid Cell Regeneration: (also referred to as "rapid cellular regeneration", "spontaneous regeneration", "tissue regeneration", "epithelial cell regeneration", or simply "regeneration" or "healing") is the ability to regenerate cells at an increased rate, resulting in physical injuries healing in a matter of seconds or minutes.
